For decades, owners and guests of Channel Island Shores have returned to enjoy a relaxing, resort-like experience in one of the most beautiful beach towns in the country. Here are a few reviews from our guests.
Had a wonderful stay. But theres one thing that I didn't like & that was one of the employees going thru the patio to get to the next patio next to me. I believe he was maintenace, nice guy but what if I was in my private Jacuzzi I woukd feel uncomfortable
Staff was very nice especially Lucy, she was very helpful. Had a wonderful stay. I had an issue the last night & addressed it to front desk. It was so nice to be close to the beach & have my very own jacuzzi in the patio. Looking forward to stay there again

Open space, bedroom, hot tub, peaceful 10/10
Supplies provided 7/10 (for someplace next to the beach and with a hot tub, I would have expected pool towels in addition to the shower towels; Most of the coffee mugs were not clean and required me to scrub off the dried coffee before use. The coffee maker was worse - dried up old coffee like its never had a decent cleaning, I wiped it with a wet paper towel and the paper towel was black afterwards; oh and no hand soap for the kitchen????)
I don't expect to walk into someplace that looks brand new, but for what I pay in annual dues, the additional booking fee to use my week somewhere other than my home resort, and then an additional $25 "service charge" PER DAY... This has not been an experience that I would trade in my home resort for again.

The units are ageing & need a little face lift. Same with the furniture. I tried opening drawers on the dresser & I was afraid it was going to fall out. The carpets look old also. It could use a new paint job and a bathroom update. The drawers in the bathroom were also hard to open and close.
I did love the location of the resort being right by the beach. It has a great harbor with restaurants and shops. I really loved the farmers market on Sunday.
