The Oxnard Tamale Festival
This weekend, the holiday season will kick off with the 15th annual Oxnard Tamale Festival! This event is located in Plaza Park in Downtown Oxnard, along the route of the Christmas parade. Enjoy amazing food, live music, and kid-friendly activities on December 3rd from 9am to 6pm. You won’t want to miss out!
Gingerbread House Exhibit & Tours
Gingerbread houses are such a fun Christmas tradition, and you can see this amazing gingerbread house exhibit in Oxnard this holiday season! This 13th annual event takes place from December 10th through January 7th from 11am to 2pm. Located in Heritage Square Hall, you can view the gingerbread house exhibit for free, or there is a guided tour experience for $5 per person that shows the former gingerbread houses.
56th Annual Parade of Lights
Channel Islands Harbor will host its 56th Annual Parade of Lights, with this year’s theme being “Let it Glow!” On December 10th from 7pm to 9pm, you can enjoy the decorated boats in the parade while enjoying carolers singing the holiday classics. There will also be holiday arts and crafts vendors. Don’t miss out on this wonderful Christmas event!
Christmas Tree Lane
From December 11th through December 26th, Downtown Oxnard will have their decorated Christmas Tree Lane along F & G streets, between 5th and Palm. This decades-long tradition features some of the best Christmas decorated houses you will see this holiday season! You can either walk or drive down this street to look at all the amazing houses, and be sure to keep an eye out for a special visit from Santa and the holiday carolers! There is also a guided tour experience offered for this event on the Holly Trolley!
